You sure you passed that citizenship test?

Didnt you hang around for the briefing afterwards? Did you pay attention?

If yes to 2 or more of the above then you should know that lunch is our "secret handshake".
That's how we recognize each other when traveling in foriegndevil lands.

You should know if you attended the briefing, that Americans are everywhere and run everything. All this worry about Americans taking over or becomming a hegimo-whatever ... and it's already been a done deal for along time.
Lunch is when all our citizens stationed in whatever foriegndevilandia get together over a good meal and strategize. I mean, when else can you count on the local pops to be asleep and/or not paying attention?

Those must be Vegas Americans. California Americans are obsessed with weekends. What did you do last weekend? What will you do this weekend? Did you have a good time? Where did you go? blah blah weekend blah blah. What did you have for lunch over the weekend?

Oh.

Britney Spears had a baby? heh, not a Spears fan. Not a Hilton and Hilton's anorexic friend what's-her-name fan either ...
I don't watch Lost either. I'm such a weird American - the other Americans make fun of me *sniffle*
Oh yeah - lunch - I guess it's an okay mealtime. Better than breakfast anyway. I hate mornings :D

Where I livein the Midwest, it's called "dinner" not "lunch." I'm forever getting trouble by inviting people for "dinner" and having them show up at noon, looking expectant.

You must hang out with different Americans than I do. I dno't know anyone who is so focused on lunch - most of my co-workers regularly skip lunch.

Funny article though - But it just didn't resonate with me - probably because I don't know anyone who behaves like that. Yank, or Euro.

This may sound like I'm a workaholic, but I'm realy lazy. My lunch problem has been that I've always worked for myself (except when I was in the Army) and usually by myself, and I never realized I was hungry until I came to a stopping point in whatever I was doing. This seldom happened at 12 o'clock and who would want to crawl out from under a hay baler for lunch, unless there were some really good cheese?
