Don’t Reid My Report!

The bad thing about Harry Reid is that he is the senator of the state I live in. The good thing about him is that he is the Senate Minority Leader. That’s where he belongs. That’s where America needs him.

If you ask me, Reid is one of the most condescending, arrogant and annoying politicians the Dummycrats have to offer. When I see him on TV and listen to him talk I feel as if I have been called into the principal’s office. Rarely he talks about me, but still, the feeling remains.

In light of the Abramoff scandal Reid’s office puts out a report titled “Republican Abuse of Power”. Then, after the fact, he is sorry:

“The document released by my office yesterday went too far and I want to convey to you my personal regrets.”

Really sorry:

“I am writing to apologize for the tone of this document and the decision to single out individual senators for criticism in it.”

You might think this is hardly worth mentioning. I agree to a certain extend. But a Dummycrat saying “I’m sorry!”, Harry Reid apologizing, come on, we won’t hear that again any time soon!

Well, maybe one more time, when we find out that Reid was involved in the scandal as well. But that’s it.

  1. If the Democrats had any sense of “spin”, they would distance themselves from the Abramoff scandal and merely point out that it is so big that it has even tarred a few Democrats.

And if they can keep their mouths shut, the public will come to see that the scandal involves about 95% Republicans and 5% Democrats. It does harm the Republicans, but not in any manner that the Democrats can turn to their advantage. Any attempts to do so will blow up their faces.
