Mark told ya so
Post-Christian Europe will also be post-European. If you’re cool with that, fine. If you’re not, you might want to rethink the lazy slurs about America’s ‘neo-fascist’ religiosity. Merry Christmas!

Post Christian Europe? Now what’s that supposed to be? Good grief, Steyn is back. I thought he would have taken a little publication break after getting it all wrong again concerning the French riots. Weren’t it supposed to be Muslim hordes that were on the brink of overruning Europe and burning it to the ground? I was thinking of getting the wife and kids and hiding in the woods somewhere. Now that it turned out to be organized criminals that were behind it, most of them French, one could have expected a small correction from Mark. But then again - Mark has always had a problem keeping fact and fiction apart. Mark knew about WOMD in Iraq Markt knew that the war would be ovew in a matter of days, and Mark still thinks that the current vote will end the war.
So don’t worry folks, lean back and enjoy your holidays. If Mark says it’s gonna happen -you cabn bet your bottom dollar it won’t. Isn’t it comforting that some things never change????

Europe, except for some southern italian and bavarian villages
is not christian compared to the middle-ages infantile rebirth of
fundamentalist-views in the US.
from a european perspective of rationalism paired with
a worship of the christian “be nice to ya neighbor”-morale —-
— the reborn-whatever thing looks similar stupid as those Taliban were……
- Disagreeregierung.

Your right [e]urope is not christian anymore, its nothing except for of course, Islamic and more little muslims being born each day.
I hadn’t read my Steyn lately, used to read him in print, but just now, thanks to the link caught up with his latest. He still cuts to the heart of the matter with humor and his trademark thoughts. Too bad more people have not paid attention to him before now. My guess is that he is just a little “too rough around the edges” for most people.
Oh, you can be poor (on welfare), a thug and a muslim and still get favor and guilt from the [e]uropeans.
It’s easy, because most are still feeling so guilty.

Well, if you dig in Europe’s cultural heritage, you see that there were times, when we weren’t better than the average Islam theocracy and given that, I am not entirely proud of our Christian heritage (as I am not proud of an Roman heritage btw).
And if you look at the ugly rants of many Catholic and US evangelists, I am proud at least of our secularism in Europe and our atheism…

Oh boy! Weltregierung, you have no clue of what you’re talking about. Instead, you’re excellent in dealing with common platitudes. But that’s no surprise to me.

Misoverestimated,
The post Christian-post European race will be determined by numbers. Who does it the most? I’ve always believed the French to be the biggest f**kers I have ever met. Just maybe they have been misoverestimated, with the Ayrabs rapidly approaching from behind!
