I would build a wall…
…a massive wall, an Anti-Terror-Wall like Israel does. But without gates, just embrasures.

There are few countries that threat their illegal aliens as well as the USA does; free education, unemployment & health benefits, all while not having to pay taxes. The free ride for illegals should end while at the same time making it easier for Mexican/Latin-/South American immigrants to live and work in the US. After all, they provide a cheap labor force and do jobs that most Americans won’t do. What stands in the way of legal residence and a cheap workforce isn’t a concrete wall - it is the federal minimum wage being too high.
