Ain’t got no cigarettes…

Uncle Saddam isn’t happy at all. In addition to an “unjust trial” he’s forced to get through the day sleep-deprived, unshowered, dressed in unclean clothes and on a low nicotine level. The latter is a real toughie, as far as I’m concerned. So who can blame him for shouting out: “This is terrorism!” I certainly can feel his pain.

In fact, he’s so angry that he refuses to attend future trial dates. I’m not sure if he has any say in this. He might, he might not. But the trial wouldn’t be the same without him. So maybe they can come up with some kind of compromise: Saddam promises to keep his mouth shut and the judge will let him smoke in the courtroom. Should he still refuse, oh well, what can you do?

Let’s hope he will at least show up for his execution…
